Glasgow and West of Scotland Greens are one of the largest and most energetic branches of the Scottish Green Party, combining local on-the-ground activism with serious electoral politics. With five city councillors in Glasgow and one MSP for Glasgow Region, we are the largest Green political presence in Scotland.

Greens are campaigning for long-term, sustainable solutions, ranging across the breadth of local and national politics, whether it is jobs and the economy, transport and energy or schools and hospitals. We have been consistently arguing against the short-term, quick-buck illusions that all the other parties have been promoting. The lack of credibility of such business-as-usual politics has become all too apparent.
