A 'Carrotmob' is where consumers organise to reward businesses that make socially responsible decisions. In this case, the environment. The Ivy have agreed to use 10% of the revenue made from the night towards making their store more energy efficient.

The carrotmob is also known as 'joycotting'. There's no negativity or conflict; everybody wins. The Ivy makes more money in the short term through the event, and in the long term through smaller energy bills. We win, because we get to drink. Plus that drink helps the environment.

There may be some live music from 7-10, with the Ivy's own DJ taking over afterwards.
