Glasgow's our dear green place, and Green councillors and activists are working to keep it that way
Glasgow's Green councillors are active in many Friends of .. groups and other local community organisations which work to improve Glasgow's parks and greenspaces, prevent unsuitable developments and encourage greenspace use by all local people.
Current campaigns include work with Glasgow City Council to use derelict land as community greenspace, the development of allotments, regeneration of neglected park areas, and opposition to the Go Ape proposals for Pollok Park.
