Big change is coming to city centre... A massive expansion of Buchanan Galleries has been given outline planning permission. Up to two years of construction and congestion chaos would result from building a new multi-storey carpark on top of Buchanan Bus Station. And the Royal Concert Hall steps - the perfect place to watch Glasgow go by - would be scrapped and replaced with a new "focal point" entranceway.
