Thank You ButtonGlasgow Greens are celebrating breakthrough results in Glasgow City. With over 10,000 votes, Greens were in third place across the city with 10% of the vote, behind the SNP and Labour, but ahead of both the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats. This is the first time that Greens have come ahead of one of the Westminster parties in a Glasgow-wide poll

In four out of the seven Westminster constituencies in Glasgow, Greens are in third place, comfortably ahead of the Liberal Democrats and Conservatives. Greens are also well ahead of the LibDems in Glasgow South.

With particularly strong results in Glasgow North (17.2%), Glasgow Central (12.0%), Glasgow South (12.4%) and Glasgow North West (10.9%), the Scottish Green Party are clearly the leading alternative voice in Glasgow.
